In 2017, Qonto raised €1.8 million in seed funding and launched its platform in France. The company quickly gained popularity among SMEs and raised an additional €5 million in a series A funding round in 2018.

In 2019, Qonto expanded to Spain and Italy and raised €16 million in a series B funding round. The company's growth continued in 2020 and 2021, with Qonto raising €40 million in a series C funding round and €115 million in a series D funding round.

I was part of the team for 1 year and 4 months. I was involved in the rebranding of the company for 2022 and created a new CMS from scratch using Rails 7. I added new features to help different teams improve their workflow and make their tasks more efficient.

After Qonto acquired another company called Penta, I was tasked with migrating their website to our new CMS. This was a big challenge but I was able to successfully complete it. I also worked on optimizing the back-end of the website to improve its performance and scalability.

Overall, I was able to contribute to the company's growth and success through my work on these projects.

Octo Technology

History

Initially founded in 1998 as the first IT architect firm, pioneer of agile delivery since 2004, nominated Great Place to work and talent cluster on several occasions, they joined Accenture Digital in 2016 to offer their clients a unique range of technological and sector-based expertise on the French market.

Their differentiating factor is their culture and the way they do things. Since 1998, they have been helping their clients build IS and apps that have transformed their companies by working on several areas: technology, methodology and understanding business line challenges. By joining Accenture Digital, they offer clients an unparalleled range of technological and sector-based expertise on the french market.

Mission

As a full stack developer at Octo, I was responsible for working with a team of other developers and a product owner to create and maintain internal applications for the company. These applications were primarily built using JavaScript and Ruby, with the use of popular frameworks such as Ruby On Rails, React and jQuery.

I was involved in the development of various features for these internal applications, with a focus on improving the user experience and making the application more efficient. One of the major projects that I worked on was a front-end redesign of the main internal application. This involved transitioning from the jQuery framework to React, which is a more modern and efficient framework for building user interfaces. I was able to lead the development of the first pages of the application using React, which set the foundation for the rest of the front-end redesign.

Homeys

History

Homeys is a suite of solutions for professionals that enables them to activate the three levers of energy bill reduction and comfort control: optimal adjustments of collective heating systems, identification of energy renovation opportunities and choice of the most suitable energy supplier.

Homeys works with all actors in the energy and housing world who develop a holistic approach to reducing the carbon footprint of real estate and eliminating energy insecurity while improving comfort.

Mission

As a Front End developer for 2 months, I was responsible for leading the rebranding of the website. I was in charge of creating a visually appealing design that aligned with the company's new branding guidelines.

I used various technologies such as JavaScript, HTML with Pug, and Bootstrap with Sass to create animations and implement the design.

Additionally, I was tasked with retrieving data from the Node.js server and utilizing it to create interactive data visualizations. The goal was to make the website more user-friendly and easy to navigate, while also providing useful data insights to the end-user.

It was a challenging and rewarding experience to work on the rebranding of the website.
